Lihue: Luau Kalamaku is at Kilohana Plantation on Kaumualii Highway, about 10 minutes from Lihue Airport.
Kapaa and Wailua (east side): Luau Ka Hikina, Wailua Nui Luau and Smith’s all sit within a few minutes of each other, about 15 minutes north of Lihue.

The word lūʻau is the Hawaiian name for young taro leaves, and for the dish
